Notes on separation
A working record of how we tell signal from distraction in an early field – the questions that survived, and the many that did not.
Field note
2026·02·03 – the field will not separate on demand. Pushing
harder produces more candidates, not better ones. The signal
arrives when we stop generating and start refusing.
Hypothesis: more inputs widen the field. Reversed: more inputs
narrow attention, and narrow attention is what separates.
